As you go through life as a woman your body goes through various dramatic hormonal changes. You can’t seem to forget that video you had to watch in your first sexual education class –– how girls in middle school start to develop breasts and grow hair in weird places. Now that you have hit menopause your body is going through, yet another, uncomfortable stage. Your body is losing all of those hormones you gained when you started to hit puberty. The biggest culprit is decreasing levels of estrogen. This causes you to have experience vaginal dryness, hot flashes and mood swings. All of which are uncomfortable to deal with –– almost as uncomfortable as getting your first period.
